Gastroenterology & Hepatology
The section of Gastroenterology and Hepatology specializes in the care of digestive tract and liver diseases, including expert prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
Our patients benefit from highly trained specialists and the latest advancements in screening and therapeutics, for the best possible outcomes. Patient care is compassionate, personal, and timely, thanks to the use of electronic medical records and on-site radiology and lab services.
We offer prompt evaluation and endoscopy for a full spectrum of gastrointestinal (GI) complaints, including complicated reflux disease, gastroparesis, refractory nausea and vomiting, chronic abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), abnormal liver function, and chronic Hepatitis B and C.
We offer special expertise in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), diagnosis and treatment of Barrett's esophagus including radiofrequency ablation, infrared coagulation (IRC) treatment of hemorrhoids, video capsule endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound.
We are also proud to offer one of the nation's best liver transplant programs. Patients are frequently referred to us for colorectal cancer screenings. We offer these patients prompt evaluation and open access endoscopy when appropriate, avoiding the need for a full gastrointestinal specialty consult.

I was very impressed with the interior of the building - it was the first time I had been here. I found your staff to be professional, courteous and friendly. When I went in for my scan, I appreciated how friendly my caregiver was, how she took the time to explain the procedure, and her skill at drawing blood. This place is first class.
