Biography

Dr. Karistinos joined the BCM family in July 2007 as an assistant professor of Orthopedic Surgery. He earned his medical degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece, and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, LA. He completed an Orthopedic Spine Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston as well as an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Murray, UT. Dr. Karistinos is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Society for Sports Medicine.
